Thank you for visiting Love Dog. Love Travel.  I started this blog first of all because I love dogs.  Second, I love to travel!  Whenever my husband and I take short trips, we take our pup with us.  This blog is for anyone wondering and wanting to take their dog on vacation with them specifically in California! I had a King Charles Spaniel mix named Cherry growing up then in 2012, my husband and I rescued our first dog together.  We rescued her from a pet adoption agency that was visiting a local Petco.  We, of course, had no intention of getting a dog but the adoption agency lady said, "You can take one of the dogs home and try them out for 7 days to see if you want to adopt."  What a great idea!  A test run before fully committing!  Amongst a pen full of many chihuahuas was a beige pup, huddled in the corner.  She was a mid-size … [Read more...]
