Even Dogs Need Sunscreen – Petkin Doggy Sunwipes

I’ve  never really given much thought to sunscreen for dogs until I visited my local Petco. Hanging on one of the racks was a yellow packet made by Petkin called Doggy Sunwipes, a sunscreen wipe for dogs. Who knew!  As we all know sunscreen can be a huge help during the summer especially for those that are fair skinned. Sunburns are not fun.

As I read more information on package, it made sense.  These wipes are spf 15, hypoallergenic, safe for dogs, vet recommended and smell really good (vanilla coconut scent).

The instructions say to use the wipes on the dogs ears, nose, muzzle and pink skin. For dogs that are light in color, it is recommended to wipe the spf on their coat as well.

This one packet contains 20 wipes that are pretty good in size (7″x7.8) and heavy-duty.  The cost for these wipes are $5.99.
